Sharing Our Light

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us".

Marianne Williamson

It appears easy to blame a lack of success on fear of failure, however, we may need to stop and consider if our fears are actually based around obtaining success!

Who will we become and what will life look like if our gifts and talents lead to fame or fortune? Will people treat us differently, expect more, or maybe believe that we feel we are "better than them". Will we lose our free and relaxing time or not be able to attend our family gatherings? Will we be able to stay "humble"? Will the demands be great? Can we handle them?

Do any of these questions sound familiar?

If so, you may be standing at the door of living as the person God created you to be. Walking through that door may indeed change your life and the demands may multiply, however, if you wish to live fully, this is a step that you must take.

We are all born with talents that allow us to "shine"! As we begin to shine, people notice and are drawn to us. This is the tricky time. If we stay in the "light", we will make connections that will enhance our own life as well as the lives of those that are drawn in. If we allow the talents to enhance our ego, then the outcome will be less favorable.

You see, the light is of the "Spirit" and seeks to help, serve, give and possibly heal! The ego dims the light as it seeks to boast, win praise and simply serve the self.

Do you have a talent that you know will enhance your life and the lives of many if you choose to use it?

If so, believe that the talent is a gift that begs to be unwrapped, reproduced and "paid forward" to many others.

Believe in your light and accept the power that accompanies it with grace, fortitude and purpose!
