Honor Thyself
Yes...stop, reminisce, recall, remember the last time that you honored yourself, your heart and your soul, above all else. How did it feel?
Most will state that honoring the self is one of the most difficult commitments to make because a feeling of selfishness often is present at the moment prior to the honoring and tends to continue during and immediately after.
Yet, when one prioritizes the honoring of self, feelings of centeredness, grounding, power and strength exist on a consistent basis.
It is easy to honor others, including their thoughts, feelings and views and place ourselves on the back burner because this is what we have been taught throughout life. We have been told to be polite, listen and hold the tongue.
In reality, if we are unable to honor our own thoughts, feelings and views, we will be unable to honor others. This is true as life presents as a mirror. What we put forth, comes back.
Honoring Thyself is the only truthful way to honor others!
Go ahead....honor yourself in some way, be in contact with how you feel and then allow the honoring of others to flow forth as deserved.
May the honor “force be with you!”
