Freedom in Commitment

Freedom in Commitment

As human beings, we often feel that commitment means loss of something.  We struggle to take the initial steps toward the commitment with fear that we will no longer have freedom in the committed state.

The truth is that as we focus on a commitment, we actually free energetic space that has been occupied by the many "other" possibilities that existed prior to the commitment.

Once one is committed, spiritual forces enter that free space and begin to support us in unimaginable ways.

As changes begin to occur, we realize that we may have "lost" something with the commitment, but we now know that the loss was actually a gain.  We realize that the loss may have occasionally provided comfort, but it also maintained chaos and sometimes caused pain.

Now, in the committed state, we are set free as we focus.  Focus requires less energy than chaos.  And with increased energy, we are able to accomplish more steps towards our initial goal.  As we take each step and reach each goal, the commitment becomes stronger and more stable and the spiritual support grows as we prove that our eyes, our mind, our heart and our soul are transfixed on the target.

The changes continue and our growth continues and now we form newer and more commitments and our focus will continue to set us free.

The truth is:

There is freedom in commitment!

Begin your commitment today with the following truths:

* I am OPEN to a change

* I realize that commitment means "the long haul"

* I plan small steps that lead to larger steps

* I will unlearn old ways and create new paradigms

* I will be honest with myself

* I will begin creating and following new habits

* I will change my attitude to one of a healthy, positive demeanor

     * Creating " Habitudes" of a healthy, balanced life of  commitment

* I will ask for help to strengthen my commitments

* I am making a commitment to a "goal greater than me"!

Now that you know the truth about commitment.....let it set you free!

May you find inner strength,
