“Private Practice and Wellness: How to Increase Clients Without Serving Lunches.” Dr. Lorri A Lankiewicz is the owner of Balance For Wellness, Inc., Hands-On Physical Therapy. The private practice was established in the year 2000 and operates in Butler, Pennsylvania. The practice began as a fee-for-service based operation providing Physical Therapy, Massage Therapy and wellness products. In 2003, the practice shifted to accepting both insurance claims and fee-for-service to allow a larger clientele to have access to the physical therapy services. Over the last 6 years, Balance For Wellness has grown from a sole proprietorship, to a Limited Liability Company and most recently to an S-corporation. The company has shown consistent growth and profit each year since inception.
Dr. Lankiewicz now wishes to share the basis of the success of Balance For Wellness, Inc., Hands-On Physical Therapy with fellow practitioners who are thinking of or have taken the step toward private practice. Dr. Lankiewicz has based the consulting/seminar services on APTA’s Vision 2020. She believes that the tenets set forth in this “Vision” will allow anyone to breed success if all are followed on a consistent basis. She believes that she has been working within these tenets for many years of her career before learning of APTA’s Vision and feels that because of this, Balance For Wellness, Inc. has grown to what it is today.
